Maharshi Valmiki Sanskrit and Yoga Shikchha Parishad (Maharshi Vaimiki Council of Sanskrit & Yoga Education) was established on December 21, 2021 as an autonomous organization registered under the Trust Registration Act, 1882 for the promotion and dissemination of Sanskrit language and Yoga throughout the country. It is completely self-funded. It is striving for the propagation and development of Sanskrit and Yoga. Sanskrit language and Yoga have played an important role in the development of all Indian languages and the preservation of the cultural heritage of India. No Indian language can develop without the help of Sanskrit. Sanskrit and Yoga also provide the theoretical basis of ancient sciences. Therefore, preservation and propagation of Sanskrit becomes necessary for the all-round development of India. The government is fully aware of this responsibility. The establishment of Maharshi Valmiki Sanskrit and Yoga Shikchha Parishad is striving for an important work as a selffinanced institution registered for the development, preservation and propagation of the education of Sanskrit and Yoga.
